Job Summary:

Due to continual growth in the region, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Small Works Fire Alarm Engineer to join our established team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the installation and commissioning of small works (fire alarm systems), ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Install and commission additions to existing Fire Alarm System, utilising varied system protocol, ie. Gent, Notifier, Protect, Kentec, Morley, Ctec, Hochiki (minimum requirement of basic Gent training)

• Works to be carried out in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform system tests and inspections to ensure functionality, confirmed with the completion of the required British Standard certification
• Troubleshoot and resolve system faults.
• Ensure compliance with British fire safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional client relationships.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in fire alarm system installation and commissioning
• Knowledge of BS5839-1 2017 and associated regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant site-based certifications (e.g., ECS/CSCS/IPAF) although not essential.
• Excellent Verbal and Written communication
